OPPO F1s to Feature 3GB RAM, 16MP Front Camera & 3075mAh Battery – Exclusive

OPPO had recently announced to launch a new smartphone called OPPO F1s in India on August 3rd. Apart from the device name, there are no other known details about the device. But today we exclusively got all the details of the smartphone except pricing. Just like the earlier launched OPPO F1 and F1 Plus, the OPPO F1s also comes with high-end selfie camera. From the image, the device looks to feature the same design as OPPO F1 Plus with a metal build body.

On the front, it sports the same 5.5-inch display as on F1 Plus but the resolution is decreased from 1080p to just 720p. It still runs on the Android 5.1 Lollipop based ColorOS 3.0 while the Android 7.0 Nougat is set to release in the next couple of months. Under the hood is the MediaTek MT6750 octa-core processor clocked at 1.5GHz. It includes 3GB of RAM and 32GB of onboard storage along with a MicroSD card slot for storage expansion.

In the camera department, the company is offering a 13MP rear camera with PDAF and a 16MP front camera. Interestingly, the F1s comes with a slightly bigger 3,075mAh battery than the 2,850mAh battery on the F1 Plus. It supports dual SIM dual standby and offers 4G LTE connectivity with VoLTE. As of now, there is no confirmation whether the company comes up with the new Super VOOC flash charging technology or stays with the current VOOC technology.

We expect the device to be available only in Gold and Grey colors as seen with the earlier devices. It comes with oval shaped physical home button on the front that might also feature the fingerprint sensor. While the OPPO F1 Plus with slightly better specifications is priced at 26,990, the OPPO F1s might be priced in between Rs. 20,000 – Rs. 25,000 price range.
