Coolpad Conjr Smartphone Launched with 5” Display and 13MP camera for $180

Coolpad comes up with another new affordable smartphone called as Coolpad Conjr for $180 with some high-end specifications. The handset comes with a 2.5D glass on the front with 70.6% screen to body ratio and is made of a metal body that gives the device a rich look. Recently Coolpad has announced Cool Changer S1 by joining hands with LeEco which was also the flagship model. Recently the company has released devices like Coolpad Power, Coolpad 8739, Coolpad Cool N1S, Coolpad Cool S1, Coolpad Note 3S and few others.
The Coolpad Conjr comes with a 5-inch IPS LCD touchscreen with 720p resolution, and under the hood, there is a Cortex A-53 quad-core processor with a clocking speed of 1GHz coupled with 3GB of RAM. Out of the box, the Conjr comes with Android 6.0 with the companies own Cool UI 8.0 on top. The onboard memory is limited to 16GB which can be further extended via microSD card slot.
Coming to the camera, the device sports a 13MP camera sensor on the rear with OIS accompanied with an 8MP camera on the front. Moreover, both the cameras are capable of taking 720p videos and come with LED flash (f/2.2 aperture). There is a fingerprint sensor on the rear which has become a mandatory for all the smartphones now.
The Coolpad Conjr is a dual-SIM variant that comes with Hybrid SIM slot (Second SIM slot) and supports 4G LTE connectivity at 150Mbps. On the back, there is a 2500mAh battery on the back to power the device that can provide 9 hours of talk time on 3G. HTe handset will compete against the devices like like Xiaomi Note 3, Xiaomi Redmi 2 Prime, Swipe Elite Plus, Lenovo Vibe K5, Asus Zenfone 2 Laser, Honor 4X and few other devices.
