Huawei Enjoy 7S with 5.65″ FullView Display & 13MP Dual Rear Cameras Launched

After several leaks and rumors, the Huawei Enjoy 7S is now officially launched in China. It is the successor to last year’s Enjoy 6S and comes with decent upgrades. As seen with the recently launched Huawei and Honor smartphones, the Enjoy 7S also comes with the new 18:9 display technology. The device comes with a metal unibody design and will be available in Black, Blue, Gold, and Rose Gold color options.
On the front is a smaller 5.65-inch FullView display with Full HD+ (2160 x 1080 pixels) resolution. It offers longer 18:9 aspect ratio and includes on-screen navigation buttons. The smartphone comes powered by the 64-bit Kirin 659 octa-core processor clocked at 2.36GHz and comes coupled with Mali-T830 MP2 GPU. It will be available in 3GB and 4GB RAM variants with 32GB and 64GB of internal storage respectively. There is also a MicroSD card slot for storage expansion up to 256GB.
The device runs on Android 8.0 Oreo-based EMUI 8.0 out of the box. Just like most other Huawei and Honor smartphones, this new device also comes with a dual camera setup. There is a 13MP + 2MP dual rear cameras and an 8MP single front camera. It is backed by a 3,000mAh non-removable battery and might lack fast charging support. The device comes with hybrid SIM card slot and there are can opt for a MicroSD card instead of the secondary SIM.
It comes with Huawei’s in-house Histen sound algorithm for offering Hi-Fi sound output. There is also circular fingerprint sensor placed on the rear. Connectivity options include 4G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, FM Radio, GPS, A-GPS, 3.5mm Audio jack, and a MicroUSB 2.0 port. It measures 150.1 x 72.05 x 7.45 mm and weighs 143 grams. The power button and volume rocker are placed on the right edge of the device.
Coming to pricing, the Huawei Enjoy 7S costs 1499 Yuan (approx $226 / Rs. 14,500) for the 3GB RAM variant and 1699 Yuan (approx $256 / Rs. 16,500) for the 4GB RAM variant. The device is currently available for the registration, and the sales will begin from December 22nd.
