Xiaomi Mi Air Purifier Max with Patented Noise Reduction Technology Launched in China

You are reading a story from PhoneRadar.

More than a year ago, Xiaomi debuted the Indian air purifier market by launching the Mi Air Purifier 2. It came with an aggressive price tag of Rs. 9,999 and it is currently retailing slightly lower at Rs. 8,999. Unlike in India, the company is constantly upgrading the Mi Air Purifier lineup in China. Along with the Mi Air Purifier 2, the company also launched the Mi Air Purifier Pro in China. It came with 500m³/h CADR and sports an OLED display.

Last month, the Mi Air Purifier 2S was launched as the successor to Mi Air Purifier 2. It costs much lesser than the Air Purifier Pro and comes with only 310m³/h CADR. Today, the company launched the high-end Mi Air Purifier Max for 1999 yuan in China. There is also an OLED display on the front to show the information about air quality and others. The OLED display is accompanied by two capacitive touch buttons for controlling the air purifier.

It has a CADR value of up to 1000m³/h and can cover up to 120m² area. Though it is perfect for rooms with a larger area, the Mi Air Purifier Max can intelligently adjust the CADR value for smaller size rooms. According to the listing, the air filters on this device will last up to 6-12 months. The Mi Air Purifier Max got a new feature where it can intake the air from both the sides for purification. It comes with a micro-level high-intensity laser sensor for detecting even tiny particles of dust in the air.

Apart from that, this new Air Purifier from Xiaomi also packs a temperature and humidity sensor. Xiaomi also developed a patented noise reduction technology to minimize the noise level while working in the highest capacity. Once the Mi Air Purifier Max is connected to the home Wi-Fi, the user can fully control it using the Mi Home app. It measures 386 x 386 x 965 mm and weighs 18Kg. For comparison, the Mi Air Purifier 2S measures 240 x 240 x 520 mm and weighs just 4.5Kg.

We don’t think, Xiaomi will be launching this high-end Air Purifier in the Indian market. Stay tuned on PhoneRadar for more details!
