Twitter Launches a New Feature Called Threads for Posting Tweetstorms

Recently, Twitter increased the character limit per tweet from 140 to 280 and display name character limit from 25 to 50. Today, the company came up with a new feature called Threads for tweeting multiple tweetstorms. The users can find the Plus (+) button while composing a tweet to make it a thread.

Updated Instagram App Lets Users Follow Hashtags

From the past few weeks, there are rumors about this new feature on Instagram allowing users to follow hashtags. Today, the company rolled out the new feature to all its users. Once the user follows a particular hashtag, the top posts of that hashtag will be shown on your own feed.

After Hyderabad, ACT Fibernet Now Launches Gigabit Internet in Bengaluru

Back in March, ACT rolled out India’s first-ever Gigabit internet service in Hyderabad. Today, the company expanded its 1Gbps internet service to Bengaluru. The basic 1Gbps plan starts at Rs. 5,999 and comes with an FUP of 1250GB download and 1250GB upload.

Sony SA-D40 and SA-D20 Speaker Systems Launched in India, Price Starting From Rs. 6,990

Sony India today launched the two new multimedia speaker systems in the country. The Sony SA-D40 is a 4.1 channel audio system and is priced at Rs. 7,990. On the other hand, the Sony SA-D20 is a 2.1 channel audio system and costs slightly lower at Rs. 6,990. Both these new speaker systems will be sold via Sony Stores and major retail chain stores across India. They also support Bluetooth connectivity to playing songs wirelessly through smartphones.

Airtel Rolls Out VoLTE services in Chennai

Airtel is slowly expanding its VoLTE (Voice over LTE) coverage to catch up with Reliance Jio. After rolling out the VoLTE services last month in Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka states, today Airtel launched the VoLTE service in Chennai, Tamilnadu. With the VoLTE, the users can make HD voice calls and get connected to the internet even while on calls.
