The device is exclusively sold via Amazon India and is priced at Rs 12,999 for the 32GB storage variant and Rs 15,999 for the 64GB storage variant. Earlier today, the company announced a Rs 1,000 price cut on both the variants. While the device was launched with Android 7.0 Nougat, it is already updated to Android 8.0 Oreo-based EMUI 8.0.
In China, the company now launched the Honor 7X Jurassic World edition. It is just the blue colored Honor 7X that comes in special Jurassic World themed packing and includes a few special accessories. The device comes with 4GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. It is priced at 1099 Yuan (approx $125 / Rs 11,500), same as the standard edition. Alongside the device, the package also includes Jurassic World themed keychain and phone case.
It comes with a 5.93-inch FullView display that offers Full HD+ (2160 x 1080 pixels) resolution and 18:9 aspect ratio. Under the hood is the 64-bit Kirin 659 octa-core processor coupled with Mali-T830 MP2 GPU. In terms of optics, the Honor 7X sports 16MP + 2MP dual rear cameras with LED flash and an 8MP single front camera for selfies. The device sports fingerprint sensor on the rear and the EMUI 8.0 update also added the face unlock support.
The device is backed by a 3,340mAh non-removable battery and supports up to 9V/2A (18W) charging input. Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS, 3.5mm audio jack, and a MicroUSB 2.0 port. After launching the Honor 7X, the company also launched the Honor 7C, Honor 7A, and Honor 7S smartphones. Unlike the Honor 7X, the Honor 7C and Honor 7A uses the Qualcomm Snapdragon processors.
