Last month, Xiaomi launched Mi 8 SE with the all-new Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 Mobile Platform. Recently, Vivo also launched Vivo NEX A bezel-less smartphone with the same processor. The Snapdragon 710 is the first processor in the new Snapdragon 700-series. It is also first non 800-series processor from Qualcomm to use the 10nm FinFET processor. Now, Meizu becomes the third smartphone manufacturer to use the Snapdragon 710 Mobile Platform.
Jack Wong (a.k.a Huang Zhang), CEO of Meizu, has confirmed the existence of a new smartphone called Meizu X8 in their community forum. The Meizu X8 will be using the 10nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 Mobile Platform coupled with in-house Kryo 360 CPU and Adreno 616 GPU.
