Motorola Launches 6GB RAM Variant of Moto Z3 Play in Brazil
Earlier this month, Motorola launched the long-rumored Moto Z3 Play in Brazil with 4GB of RAM. During its launch event, the company also announced to soon bring the 6GB RAM variant. Now, the Moto Z3 Play with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. Apart from RAM and storage, there are no other differences between both the variants. However, the new 6GB RAM variant comes in Onyx color and is priced at R$ 2,699 (approx $715 / Rs 48,500).
The 4GB RAM variant in Deep Indigo color was launched at R$ 2,299. The new Moto Z3 Play comes with the glass back body and comes in similar size as the earlier launched Moto Z devices. On the front is the 6-inch Super AMOLED Full HD+ (2160 x 1080 pixels) display with Corning Gorilla Glass protection. Under the hood is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 Mobile Platform coupled with Adreno 509 GPU. It runs on Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box and comes included with Moto Display & Moto Actions.
While the fingerprint sensor is now placed on the right edge, it still supports the One Button Nav gestures. Coming to the camera department, there are dual cameras on the rear featuring 12MP primary sensor with f/1.7 aperture and 5MP secondary sensor with f/2.2 aperture. For selfies, there is an 8MP front-facing camera with f/2.0 aperture. The device comes with nano-coating which makes the device splash proof.
The Moto Z3 Play is backed by a 3,000mAh non-removable battery and also support Turbo Power fast charging technology. Connectivity options include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi (2.4GHz & 5GHz), Bluetooth 5, GPS, NFC, and USB Type-C port. It measures 156.5 x 76.5 x 6.7 mm and weighs 156 grams. As of now, the 6GB RAM variant is exclusive to Brazil. In India, we expect the company to launch both the 4GB and 6GB RAM variants of the Moto Z3 Play smartphone.
