LG X2 Smartphone Running Android 7.1.2 Nougat Launched in Korea
LG will be launching quite a few smartphones exclusively for its home country, South Korea. The list includes the special edition variants of flagship models, flip phones, and budget smartphones. Today, the company launched a new entry-level smartphone called LG X2 for the South Korean market. It comes in Aurora Black color and will be available via all the four major operators in the country. Coming to the pricing, the LG X2 costs KRW 198,000 (approx $175 / Rs 12,000).
It comes with the polycarbonate shell and sports thick bezels on the front. The device also runs on a couple of year’s old Android 7.1 Nougat out of the box. The device looks exactly similar to the LG Aristo 2 Plus launched via T-Mobile in the U.S. Interestingly, the LG Aristo 2 Plus also comes with Android 7.1.2 Nougat onboard. On the front, the device sports a 5-inch IPS display with HD (1280 x 720 pixels) resolution. It is powered by an unspecified Qualcomm Snapdragon quad-core processor clocked at 1.3GHz.
The device offers 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage that can be further expandable using the MicroSD card slot. In the camera department, the LG X2 sports an 8MP camera on the rear with LED flash and a 5MP camera on the front for selfies. On the rear, we can also spot the circular fingerprint sensor and loudspeaker. The device is backed by a 2,500mAh battery that should last at least for one full day of basic usage. Considering it a low-cost smartphone, it lacks fast charging support.
Connectivity options include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, FM Radio, 3.5mm audio jack, and a MicroUSB 2.0 port. It measures 144.8 x 71.9 x 8.2 mm and weighs 152 grams. Stay tuned on PhoneRadar for more details about the upcoming LG smartphones.
