Last month, we had seen few entry-level smartphones launched under Rs 7,000, which packs some decent specifications. LYF also launched the most affordable VoLTE smartphones priced at just Rs. 3,999. There are even more smartphones launched costing as low as Rs. 2,500 which may not offer best Android experience. Below are some of the best smartphones launched in te last 30 days in the Indian market. Swipe had launched its latest budget smartphone Elite Plus last month in India. Earlier the company also launched the Elite, Elite 2, and Elite Note smartphones with decent specifications. It is priced at Rs. 6,999 and comes with some decent specifications. The device sports a 5-inch display with Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) and comes protected by Dragon Trail glass. It is powered by 1.5GHz Snapdragon 615 octa-core processor along with Adreno 405 GPU.

It has 2GB of RAM & 16GB of internal storage that can be further expanded up to 64GB with the MicroSD card slot. In the camera part, it has a 13MP rear camera with f/2.0 aperture and an 8MP selfie camera on the front. The Elite Plus is backed by a 3,050mAh battery that is rated to give two days of battery life. The Elite Plus runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop based Freedom OS and supports dual SIM dual standby. Connectivity options include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, and a MicroUSB 2.0 port.

LYF Flame 5 & Flame 6 are the two basic Android smartphones launched in the market. Both the smartphones are priced at Rs. 3,999 and comes with almost same specifications. Along with Flame 3 & Flame 4, these are most affordable 4G VoLTE smartphones available in India. The Flame 5 & Flame 6 comes with a 4-inch display with WVGA (800 x 480 pixels) resolution. These are powered by MediaTek quad-core processor clocked at 1.5GHz.

The devices include just 512MB of RAM & 4GB of internal storage. On the camera front, the Flame 6 comes with a 2MP sensor on front and back while the Flame 5 sports a 5MP rear camera and a 2MP front camera. The Flame 6 is backed by a slightly larger 1,750mAh battery compared to the 1,650mAh battery on the Flame 5. Reliance is also offering a free Jio 4G SIM with very LYF smartphone that includes unlimited 4G data and voice calls.

LYF Wind 5 is the latest smartphone in the affordable Wind lineup. The device comes with entry-level specifications and sports polycarbonate body. Just like other LYF smartphones, the Wind 5 also supports 4G LTE along with VoLTE and VoWiFi. The device is priced at Rs. 6,599 and runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop OS. It sports a 5-inch HD (1280 x 720 pixels) display and is powered by MediaTek MT6735 quad-core processor. There is 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage on this device which can be further expandable up to 32GB.

Coming to the camera department, the Wind 5 packs an 8MP rear camera with LED flash and a 5MP front camera. The device is kept powered on by a 2,000mAh battery that might not last more than a day of mixed usage. It has dual SIM dual standby support and connectivity options include 4G LTE, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS/A-GPS, and a MicroUSB 2.0 port. It measures 144.6 x 72.8 x 8.45 mm and weighs 137 grams. The device is available in White and Black color options.

After launching the Moto G4 & Moto G4 Plus, Lenovo came with the entry-level Vibe K5 smartphone. It is priced at Rs. 6,999 and comes with pretty good specifications compared with the other devices at the same price range. It sports a 5-inch HD (1280 x 720 pixels) display and includes Snapdragon 415 octa-core processor clocked at 1.4GHz. It is coupled with Adreno 405 GPU and 2GB of RAM. There is 32GB of internal storage that can be expanded via MicroSD card slot.

It still runs on Android 5.1 based Vibe UI, and there is no information about the Marshmallow update. The Vibe K5 features a 13MP rear shooter with LED flash and a 5MP selfie shooter on the front. It has Dolby Atmos sound support for rich audio experience and TheaterMax support for VR. It is backed by a 2,750mAh battery which the company claims to give 32 hours of talk time and lasts up to 15 days on standby. The device offers dual SIM dual standby with 4G LTE support.

Micromax had launched decent smartphones in the last couple of months with aggressive pricing. The latest Canvas Fire 5 (Q386) priced at Rs. 6,999 also offers impressive features. At such a low price, it packs dual front facing speakers with 3D surround sound. It also runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box but includes several pre-loaded apps. Micromax is also offering six months of Gaana premier membership for free. It comes with a 5.5-inch IPS display with HD (1280 x 720 pixels) resolution.

Under the hood, the Canvas Fire 5 comes powered by MediaTek MT6580 quad-core processor along with 1GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage. On the camera front, it has an 8MP sensor on the back and a 5MP selfie shooter on the front. The 2,500mAh battery on this device is mentioned to give 8.5 hours of talk time and lasts up to 450 hours on standby. Just like other smartphones, it has dual SIM dual standby but lacks the 4G LTE connectivity.
