Meizu MX6 with 5.5″ Full HD Display & 12MP Rear Camera Launched

After several leaks and rumors, Meizu had officially launched its latest high-end smartphone Meizu MX6 today in China. The device looks same as recently launched Meizu Pro 6 with the unique antenna band placement but misses the 10-LED ring flash. It is built into an Aluminum unibody case with rounded corners. It comes with the latest Flyme 5 UI based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box.

It comes with a 5.5-inch In-cell display from Sharp with Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) resolution; the Pro 6 came with a smaller 5.2-inch AMOLED display with the same 1080p resolution. Additionally, the Meizu Pro 6 also supports 3D Touch same as on the iPhone 6S and 6S Plus. Under the hood is the MediaTek’s Tri-Cluster Helio X25 deca-core processor clocked at 2.5GHz and coupled with Mali-T880GPU. The device packs 4GB of RAM and comes in 32GB and 64GB storage variants.

Coming camera department, the Meizu MX6 features a 12MP IMX386 primary camera with 6P lens, f/2.0 aperture, and PDAF for faster focusing. On the fr0nt is a 5MP secondary camera with wide-angle lens. It supports VoLTE and Cat.6 LTE that offers speeds up to 300 Mbps.
