Zopo Speed 8 with Helio X20 Deca-Core Processor & 4GB RAM Launched in India
Zopo Mobile, a Shenzhen-based smartphone unveiled their latest flagship device at the MWC stage in Barcelona. The Speed 8 is company’s new smartphone, it is the first and the only device to be powered by a Helios X20 chipset, which is a Deca-core processor, clocking 700MHz. It is accompanied by a Mali T-880 GPU, which is supported by a 4GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage.
The Speed 8 packs 5.5-inch 1080p display; it maintains a three piece design and has rounded edges, which makes it quite symmetrical. The device would be running on the latest Android Marshmallow 6.0 OS, and most interesting part is that it would be almost stock UI experience. So, you’ll see features like Google Now on Tap, Doze mode and much improvement in security of the device. As well as it adds more compatibility with fingerprint sensor being installed here. It offers a fingerprint sensor on the back of the device; you can snap pictures and unlock the screen with this biometric security.
The camera package on this thing is pretty competitive, as it has a 21-megapixel rear module, which is a Sony Exmor IMX230 sensor, its present of some other handsets as well, such as Moto X Force, Honor 7 to name few. It uses PDAF (Phase Detection Autofocus) technology, which allows it to be quicker at just 02. Seconds focus speed. Talking about the front facing camera, it is of 8-megapixel resolution and should be quite good for selfies. Both the modules are accompanied by Flashlight support in low light conditions. Though the rear part has dual-LED Flash, front part has single LED flash.
Regarding the connectivity options, it has a 4G LTE connectivity option with the support of most of the international bands. Other connectivity options include NFC, Dual SIM, Bluetooth 4.1, 3G, Wi-Fi, GPS and USB Type- port. An offering front-facing loudspeaker, it has a metal finished frame but isn’t actually a metal constructed device. All this is powered by a 3600mAh capacity battery which supports fast charging. The device will be available in two colors Black and White and can be pre-order starting March 7 at a $299 pricing, which is approximately equal to Rs 20470. Though, the shipments start from April 12th.
