Android 8.0 Based Apple iPhone X Clone Without Notch Already Available in the Markets
You are reading a story from PhoneRadar.
Earlier, we used to see the Chinese clones of the popular smartphones after their official launch. Now in 2017, we are getting complete details of the smartphones much earlier to their launch, thanks to leaks. Before to the iPhone X launch, there are even the mockups made available for sale in China. We have been keeping an eye on the Chinese e-commerce websites for an iPhone 8 series clone and were able to find them post the launch itself, but the iPhone X has been something that’s pretty hard to clone.
This is because of the weird notch that most of the bezel-less smartphones just remove it and give a better cleaner look. For your reference take a look at the Xiaomi’s latest smartphone i.e. the Mi MIX 2 that has a beautiful design on the front, yet retaining the earpiece & the front camera. However, the world got its first ever iPhone X in the name of Hotwav Symbol S3. Except the missing notch on top of the display, the Symbol S3 looks exactly same as iPhone X. Apart from the design, there are no other similarities between these two devices.
We don’t except the Symbol S3 to use the same premium material as the bezel-less iPhone. While the iPhone X came with three cameras, the Symbol S3 sports a total of four cameras. There is a 13MP + 2MP dual camera setup on the rear and a 16MP + 2MP setup on the front. Both the front and rear cameras come accompanied with LED flash. As seen on the iPhone X, the Symbol S3 also sport vertically aligned dual rear cameras on the top left corner. It is also mentioned to run on the latest Android 8.0 Oreo out of the box.
Looking at earlier iPhone clones, we might be seeing iOS-like theme on this device too. Talking about the display, the Hotwav Symbol S3 sports a large 6-inch IPS display with HD+ (1440 x 720 pixels) resolution and 18:9 aspect ratio. On the top bezel, we can spot the dual cameras, LED flash, earpiece, and regular sensors. There is also a visible bezel on the bottom part of the display. The smartphone will be powered by 64-bit Mediatek MT6739 quad-core processor coupled with 2GB RAM and 16GB of internal storage.
If you find any other clones of the iPhone X, let us know in the comments section. We are yet to find the exact pricing at which the phone is going to retail but according to Alex Taylor, the phone is available in two different variants i.e. the one with the Notch and one without. As of now, there are no images of the Symbol S3 sporting notch on the top.
