Apple iPhone 8, 8 Plus Worldwide Pricing Comparison – Most Expensive to Cheapest List
You are reading a story from PhoneRadar.
Apple has launched the iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus as the successors to last year’s iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus. This year, we also got a special edition device called iPhone X with an all-screen display. Leaving out the new iPhone X, the other two iPhones look very much similar to their predecessors. Just like earlier, we can’t compare the specs of these new iPhones with their Android counterparts.
The collaboration between the hardware and software provides a seamless experience on the iPhone. While the iPhone X will start shipping from November 3rd, the company might not match the demand and supply of the $999 iPhone. Instead of waiting for the iPhone X, the users can opt for the iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus. Though the iPhone 8 devices lack the edge-to-edge display & Face ID, they are still the most powerful smartphones currently available in the market.
With the below comparison, you can choose which device best suits your needs.

Now, let’s go with the worldwide pricing of the iPhone 8 & iPhone 8 Plus and find where it is most expensive and affordable to buy. If you are worried about the warranty, Apple now offers one-year international warranty even on the iPhones. Even if the iPhone 8 is purchased in the U.S or Dubai, you get it serviced for free here in India. Both the iPhone 8 & iPhone 8 Plus went on sale in India on September 29th.
We should also note that the pricing of the devices are taken from the Apple’s official website and few countries might even impose additional taxes on the listed amount. Both the iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus are cheapest in the U.S. While many states in the U.S impose a sales tax, there are even few states with zero sales tax. You can purchase the iPhone 8 for just $699 (approx Rs. 45,300) in the U.S states of Oregon, Montana, New Hampshire, Delaware, and Alaska.
On the other higher, Brazil is known for its heavy taxes and fees on imported electronics. Just like any iPhone, the new iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus are also most expensive in Brazil. Looking at the European markets, the new iPhones are priced higher in Denmark and Italy when compared other major European markets. The same iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus are available in Switzerland for the lowest price in Europe.
Leaving out Brazil, the iPhones are also priced on the expensive side in India and Russia. Ironically, in India where the iPhone is still considered as a product for show off in terms of a premium category phone, the phones are sold with huge cash back offers when launched. This year too we had seen this trend where the iPhones were available with a cash back offer of around Rs 10,000 on different commerce portals along with some amazing exchange offers.
Though these offers were not in a direct tie-up with Apple India and the brand generally keeps the price fixed, the phones are available at much affordable prices than what were official announced. These ecommerce wars generally lead to better offering to the consumers and this is primarily happening in India unlike in other countries were see very little additional offerings that’s either in the form of contract options or else store based goodies. Now, let us know where do you prefer to buy your next iPhone.
