Nokia 7 Might Launch in India on October 31st

HMD Global will be launching a new smartphone on October 31st in India. While the company is yet to reveal the upcoming device, we expect this to be the recently unveiled the Nokia 7 smartphone. Last week, Nokia 7 was launched in China in two 4GB and 6GB RAM variants. Unlike the Chinese variant, the Indian variant will be running on Pure Android. The Nokia 7 comes with a glass body and sports a 5.2-inch Full HD display on the front. It is powered by Snapdragon 630 processor and features a 16MP rear camera with ZEISS optics.

Google Pixel 2 & Pixel 2 XL India Launch on October 27th

Google Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL smartphones will be launched here in India on October 27th. Along with Flipkart, Google Pixel 2 devices will also be sold offline through major retail chains. Talking about the pricing, the base variants of the Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL will be costing Rs. 61,000 and Rs. 73,000 respectively. The devices come with latest Android 8.0 Oreo out of the box. However, the latest reports from the U.S confirms the several Pixel 2 XL screen burn-in issues. We hope the company comes with a solution before the launch date.

Apple iPhone X Pre-orders Starting on October 27th

The pre-orders for the Apple’s all-screen iPhone X will begin from October 27th. The low sales of the iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus hints at a huge demand of the iPhone X. However, the company might be having only 2-3 million units before the sale date. It comes in Space Grey and Silver color options. The iPhone X is priced at Rs. 89,000 for the 64GB variant and Rs. 1,02,000 for the 256GB variant.

OnePlus 5T Leaked Design

Unlike the OnePlus 3T, we will be seeing external changes with the OnePlus 5T instead of internal changes. With the OnePlus 5T, the company will be moved from the regular 16:9 aspect ratio. Based on the leaked renders, the OnePlus 5T with 18:9 Full HD+ display will be measuring same as OnePlus 5 with a 5.5-inch display. The physical home button will be removed and the fingerprint sensor is shifted to the rear of the device. We expect the device to runs on Android 8.0 Oreo-based Oxygen OS out of the box. The official launch event of the OnePlus 5T will most probably happen in the month of November.

Huawei Plans to Develop Foldable Phone Next Year

ZTE has recently launched the foldable smartphone with the dual displays called as Axon M. On the other hand, Samsung has confirmed to bring the foldable display smartphone under the Galaxy Note series in 2018. Now, Huawei also mentioned bringing its own foldable smartphone sometime next year. Recently, the company launched the Mate 10 flagship smartphones along with Watch 2 Pro Android Wear smartwatch in China.

Xiaomi Enters Spain, Might Soon Open Mi Store in Madrid

Xiaomi Spain’s Facebook and Twitter accounts now officially confirm the presence of the Xiaomi in one of the major European market. The company is yet to reveal the complete details of the availability of the products. A few reports also suggest the company to open its second European Mi Store in Xanadu shopping mall in Madrid, next to one of the Apple Stores. In the first half of 2017, Xiaomi opened its first-ever European Mi store in Golden Hall of Athens, Greece.

Pay with Google Launched – Easier Payments on Different Sites

Google announced a new mobile payment technology called ‘Pay with Google’ for Android smartphone users. On the sites or apps with ‘Pay with Google’ button, the user can quickly complete the transaction without entering the shipping address and debit/credit card details. However, this new payment feature will not be available as of now in India. Google came up with the all-new Tez mobile payment app based on UPI.

OPPO R11S & R11S Launching on November 2nd

OPPO India has already confirmed to launch the OPPO F5 smartphone on November 2nd in India. On the same day, OPPO will also unveil the OPPO R11S and R11S Plus high-end smartphones in China. Just like the OPPO F5, the OPPO R11S devices also comes with 18:9 display on the front. While the OPPO R11S packs 4GB RAM, the OPPO R11S Plus will be coming with 6GB of RAM. The devices are also leaked to sport 20MP dual camera setup on the rear.

Sony Xperia XZ Premium Receives Android 8.0 Oreo Update

Earlier today, Sony has started rolling out the latest Android 8.0 Oreo update for the flagship Xperia XZ Premium. The new update also brings the 3D Creator feature introduced with the Xperia XZ1 and XZ1 Compact to the Xperia XZ Premium. If there is no notification about the update, the users can manually check for the OTA update by opening Settings > System > Software Update.
