New Nokia 3310 3G Phone Launched in the U.S for $60

Last month, Nokia announced the new Nokia 3310 with 3G support. The Nokia 3310 3G will be first launched in the countries where there is no support 2G bands. Today, the company launched the Nokia 3310 3G in the U.S for $60. It comes in Azure, Charcoal, Red, and Yellow color options. The device is currently available for pre-order and the shipping begins on October 29th.

ZTE Blade X Launched in the U.S for $119.99

ZTE Blade X is the company’s latest smartphone to be made available on Cricket Wireless. It comes with a 5.5-inch HD display, Snapdragon 425 processor, 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage. The smartphone runs on Android 7.1.1 Nougat out of the box and includes USB Type-C port. It comes with the Argus suite of health apps and sports pedometer and heart rate sensor.

Xiaomi Launches Mi TV 4C with 4K HDR Support

Xiaomi has launched the affordable 4K HDR Smart TV called Mi TV 4C at just 2649 Yuan (approx Rs 26,000) in China. It sports a 55-inch 4K HDR display along with 2GB RAM and 8GB of internal storage. There is also a 43-inch variant which comes with Full HD panel, 1GB RAM, and 8GB of internal storage. The TVs are powered by Amlogic T962 quad-core processor. The company is selling the Mi Bluetooth Remote Control separately for 99 Yuan (approx Rs 1000). On the connectivity front, the TVs also support Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.2.

Cortana-powered Harman Kardon Invoke to be Available Soon

Samsung-owned Harman Kardon unveiled the first ever Microsoft’s Cortana powered smart speaker. It is named as Harman Kardon Invoke and will be competing with Amazon Echo, Google Home, and Apple Homepod. It costs $200 and be available in stock starting October 22nd. In the coming weeks, HP might also bring its own smart speaker with built-in Cortana support.

OPPO R11 & OPPO R11s Spotted in Leaked Renders

OPPO is getting ready to unveil the OPPO R11S and R11S Plus as the successors to the earlier launched OPPO R11 and R11 Plus smartphones. Based on the leaks, the devices will be the first OPPO smartphones to feature 18:9 display. We might see a lot of similarities between the OPPO R11S and OPPO F5 smartphones. While the OPPO F5 comes with a single rear camera, the leaks hint at dual camera setup on the OPPO R11S. With thinner bezels on the front, the fingerprint sensor will be moved to the rear of the device.

Latest Update for Nintendo Switch Brings Wireless USB Headphone Support

Nintendo Switch has received the latest 4.0 firmware update that brings the option to transfer user profiles, save data, and video capture. However, the new update also comes with a hidden feature that lets the Nintendo Switch connect with USB-based wireless headsets. It works even when the Switch is undocked, but the user needs to have a USB Type-A to USB-C adapter. However, the users still can’t use the Bluetooth wireless headsets.

Amazon Italy Bans Xiaomi Smartphones

The Xiaomi smartphones are unofficially available in the European markets through several resellers. Now, Amazon Italy has banned the sale of Xiaomi smartphones. While the ban has nothing to do with the manufacturer, it is due to unsafe chargers shipped by the resellers. We expect Amazon to lift the ban once it gets the assurance from the resellers listed on their site.

Google’s Latest Daydream View VR headset Goes on Sale

Alongside the Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL smartphones launch, Google also announced the new Daydream View VR headset. The new VR headset is now available through the Google Store for $99. It comes in Fog, Charcoal, and Coral color options, but only the Coral color variant is ready to ship now. Google is also offering more than $40 worth of VR games for those who purchase the new Daydream View VR headset before December 31st, 2017.

Take Virtual Walk in the Space with Google Maps

With the Street View feature Google Maps, anyone can virtually travel anywhere in the world. Now, Google also added the bunch of dwarf planets, planets, and moons. The user can zoom out of the earth and visit any other location in the space. Back in July, the internet giant has added the Internation Space Station to the Google Maps along with Street View. Outside of Earth, the users can’t get much information.
