The Indian smartphone manufacturer, Karbonn has launched a new entry-level smartphone called Titanium Jumbo. While the MRP of the smartphone is mentioned as Rs. 7,490, the best buy price is quoted slightly lower at Rs. 6,490. It will be available in Black and Champagne color options. The Karbonn Titanium Jumbo packs decent specifications and sports a polycarbonate body. Just like other newly launched smartphones, the new Titanium Jumbo also offers 4G VoLTE connectivity.

It sports a 5-inch IPS display with HD (1280 x 720 pixels) resolution. The device comes powered by an unspecified quad-core processor clocked at 1.3GHz coupled with 2GB of RAM. It includes 16GB of internal storage that can be further expandable up to 64GB. The Titanium Jumbo runs on Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box. It also offers dual SIM dual standby support. The power button and volume rocker are placed on the right edge of the device.

Beneath the display are the three capacitive navigation buttons for multi-tasking, home, and back (left to right). The smartphone lacks the fingerprint sensor. In terms of optics, the Titanium Jumbo features a 13MP sensor on the rear and an 8MP sensor on the front for selfies. The USP of the device is its huge 4,000mAh battery that is rated to give up to 16 hours of talk time and lasts up to 400 hours on standby mode.

On the connectivity front, the smartphone includes 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, USB OTG, GPS, 3.5mm audio jack, and a MicroUSB 2.0 port. Karbonn is also a protective case for free with every device. Earlier this month, Karbonn and Airtel partnered to launch the A40 Indian smartphone effectively for Rs. 1,399. Airtel also announced the special Rs 169 plan that includes unlimited local and STD calls along with 0.5GB 4G data per day for 28 days.

The Rs 169 plan from Airtel will be also available for the Titanium Jumbo users, but the validity is only limited to 14 days. Stay tuned on PhoneRadar for more details about the upcoming smartphones!
