BQ Aquaris M8 Tablet Announced with Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow & 2GB RAM
BQ has announced its Aquaris M8 Tablet for a price of € 169.90. The device comes with stainless treatment and gives a viewing angle of 160 degrees and uses Glass-Film-Film (GFF) technology. BQ has launched few devices in the past and among them few famous devices are BQ Aquaris U lite, BQ Aquaris U Plus, BQ Aquaris X5 Plus, BQ Aquaris E5s, BQ Aquaris E6 and few other devices. This new handset will be added to the companies famous Aquaris series, and this tablet will be available via BQ Store.

The BQ Aquaris M8 Tablet will come with an 8-inch multi-touch capacitive display with 5-point simultaneous detection. The device comes with HD (800 x 1280 pixels) resolution giving a pixel density of 189PPI. There is a Dragontrail glass protection with a layer of alkali-aluminosilicate which provides more resistance to the device from scratches and falls.
Under the hood, there is a Quad-core 1.3GHz MT8163B processor coupled with 2GB of RAM and Mali T720 MP2 GPU. There is a 5MP rear-facing camera with f/2.2 aperture and has Omnivision OV5670F which is capable of capturing 1080p videos at 30 frames per second. There is a 2MP selfie camera for video calling with Core Galaxy GC235. On the connectivity front, there is Wi-Fi 802. 11802.11 b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth v4.1, micro- USB OTG, 3.5mm audio jack and GPS.

There are other sensors like Accelerometer, Hall Sensor, LED notifications and Light sensor. Out of the box, the device comes with Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow and may also get further updates in the future. On the rear there is a 4050 mAh Li-Po battery and the tablet will be supporting various audio and video formats. The BQ Aquaris M8 has an onboard memory of 16GB which could be extended via microSD card slot.
