UMi announced the new UMi Diamond smartphone yesterday, which is their next offering after the UMi Plus. And according to the company, these two things inspired them and they design the smartphone to be as tough and beautiful as diamond. UMi says that the snartphone’s display is best in class and would be able to face hits and bumps in the best possible way and won’t give up. They had the goal of making it ”the Diamond among smartphones’ display screens”, able to resist to 1.2-1.5 meter drops 80% of the times, thanks to the patented Dual-glass T2x-1 technology.
And it is not just tough, it is also very pretty in terms of producing quality images on the display. UMi says that the smartphone produces crisp and natural looking images as they intended it to be pure for a a natural viewing experience of every content displayed. According to the company, the smartphone is also very beautiful to look at. The smartphone is designed like any other premium smartphone out there in the market. Well, to sum everything up, if you are to buy this smartphone, then you are pretty much looking at a smartphone with hardness of the glass, the stylish design & the clear display.
Now talking about the specs of the smartphone, it comes with 5-inch display on the front with HD resolution. The display is covered by a 2.5D glass which uses the appreciated Dual T2X-1 glass protection, allowing it to better resist accidental bumps and scratches. It is powered by an Octa-core 4G processor MT6753 clocked at 1.5 Ghz. It also packs 3GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage out of the box. You can also expand the internal storage with a microSD card upto 128GB.
