Meizu has recently confirmed the launch event of its upcoming flagship smartphone Meizu Pro 6s will be held on November 3rd. Recently, we also reported about the possible launch of Meizu M5 that was leaked to feature entry-level specifications. Today, a new smartphone is listed on TENAA in three variants. The devices come with the model numbers M611A, M611D, and M611Y. We expect the listed device to be the same Meizu M5 since both of them comes with similar specifications. From the above featured image, we can see the device to feature polycarbonate body with a 2.5D glass on the front.

It comes with a 5.2-inch HD (1280 x 720 pixels) IPS display and is expected to be powered by 1.5GHz MediaTek MT6750 octa-core processor. The device comes in 2GB and 3GB RAM variants with 16GB and 32GB storage respectively. There will also be a MicroSD card slot for further expansion of the storage. Interestingly, with all these entry-level specifications, the listing also mentioned the device to be available with 6GB of RAM and 64GB of onboard storage. It runs on Alibaba’s Yun OS 5.1.1 with Flyme UI laid on top. On the camera front, there is a 13MP rear camera with LED flash and a 5MP front camera.

The Meizu M5 will be backed by a 3,000mAh battery that can at least give a day of usage. It measures 147.28 x 72.8 x 8.15 mm and weighs 129 grams. The device is dual SIM compatible and supports 4G LTE and VoLTE. Other connectivity options include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, and MicroUSB 2.0 port. The Volume rocker and power button are placed on the right edge of the device while the SIM card slot can be found on the left edge. We don’t think the device will be available 6GB, but who know the company may surprise with the most affordable 6GB RAM smartphone.

While the Meizu Pro 6s smartphone will be launched on November 3rd, there is another event held on October 31st where we might see the Meizu M5 launch. The listing mentioned the device to be available in White, Black, Blue, Green, and Gold color options. The mBack button the front might come equipped fingerprint sensor. Meizu also released the teaser image with a large ‘X’, and there is information regarding this. If I need to make a wild guess, I think this something related to the Flyme powered set-top box. Earlier this month, the company has announced the Flyme OS for tablets and smart TVs.

Talking about the Meizu smartphones here in the Indian market, the company has just launched the Meizu M3s smartphone at a price of Rs. 7,999. It comes with a metal body and is powered by the same MediaTek MT6750 processor that is also expected to power the Meizu M5. It competes with the Xiaomi Redmi 3s and Redmi 3s Prime that are also priced at Rs. 6,999 and Rs. 8,999 respectively. The 3GB RAM variant of the Meizu M3s costs Rs. 9,299 and both the variants are exclusive to Snapdeal. Stay tuned on Phone Radar, for the expect details of the smartphones and other gadgets that will be unveiled next week.
