Samsung Galaxy Note 7 Customers in South Korea will get 50% Discount on Galaxy S8 or Note 8

Samsung announced that it would be providing 50% discount on Galaxy S8 or Note 8 in Korea to its Galaxy Note 7 customers who are opting for Galaxy S7 or S7 Edge. This new upgraded offer from the South Korean giant also includes 50% discount on LCD repair costs and also provide fast track service for after-sales for these customers. Samsung also said that this program is aimed to ‘lightening the burden’ for all whose who are exchanging their Note 7 device for the Galaxy S7 or S7 Edge.

The new Galaxy Upgrade Program for South Korea will end on 30th of November although the South Korean Giant has not announced the start date of the program it will be starting soon. Those who have already exchanged the Note 7 for Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge in Korea are also eligible for this offer.

Under this program, the customers getting the Galaxy S7 or S7 Edge under a month contract will have to pay a monthly fee only for 12-months until they exchange it for a Galaxy S8 or Note 8 which are going to be released next year. Samsung also said that if the customer wishes to take another phone before a year, they need to pay up to that 12 months only.

Earlier we have seen plenty of explosions of the Galaxy Note 7 and the device was even banned from few airlines. Later the South Korean giant has taken the initiative and called back its Note 7 devices and exchanged them with the Galaxy S7 or Galaxy S7 Edge devices. Galaxy Note 7 was one of the premium range devices but the explosions and battery blasts, Samsung has lost many of its customers.
