Affordable Lenovo Moto C Smartphone Leaked in Press Renders
You are reading a story from PhoneRadar.
In November last year, we have heard for the time about the new Moto C series from Lenovo. The first device to launch under this new series is the Moto C. Almost half a year later, the images and the specifications of the device are now leaked online. While the new Moto G phones are launched with metal bodies instead of plastic, the affordable Moto C device sports polycarbonate shell. While the Moto devices come with on-screen navigation buttons, the new Moto C comes with capacitive buttons along with thick bezels around the display.
As seen on the latest Moto G and Moto Z smartphones, there is large camera module on the rear that protrudes out of the base. According to Evan Blass, the upcoming Moto E4 and E4 Plus also comes with the similar camera module. The device packs entry-level specifications and competes against the likes of the other Chinese brands. It might come with a 5-inch HD display and features MediaTek MT6780 quad-core processor. The device will be running on the latest Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box and comes with few minor tweaks to the stock Android UI.
Both the front and rear cameras features LED flash. The power button and volume rocker are placed on the right edge of the device. With all these leaks and recent Wi-Fi certification, the company might soon launch the device officially. It comes in White, Black, Gold, and Red color options. The loudspeaker can be found on the bottom rear of the device, while the Moto dimple can be spotted below the large rear camera module. Though there is no official confirmation, we expect the company to launch the affordable Moto C in India.
Another Moto device with the model number XT-1755 is spotted on the Indonesian regulatory website. It sports a 5-inch display with FWVGA (854 x 480 pixels) resolution. It includes MediaTek MT6737m quad-core processor coupled with 1GB/2GB of RAM and 16GB of onboard storage. There is a 5MP autofocus camera on the rear and a 2MP fixed focus camera on the front. It is backed by 2,300mAh battery and runs on Android OS. Since the Moto E devices are now featuring a bigger battery, we don’t the XT-1755 to be the Moto E4 device.
If the XT-1750 is not the Moto C, then the XT-1755 will be it as the device sports basic specifications. For official confirmation of the specifications, pricing, and availability of the Moto C smartphone, we need to wait for the official launch. Soon, we might see the new Moto C, Moto E4, Moto E4 Plus, and Moto X 2017 smartphones. Stay tuned on Phone Radar for more details about the upcoming Moto smartphones.
