ZTE Blade MAX 3 with 6″ FHD Display & 4,000 mAh battery launched in the U.S
You are reading a story from PhoneRadar.
The Chinese smartphone manufacturer ZTE is known for launching versatile et of smartphones in the market. On the same lines, the company has now launched a new smartphone in the U.S called the Blade MAX 3. This is more of a mid-ranged offering from the company which has a decent set of specs for the price at which it is being offered at. This, however, comes as a phablet offering for people looking for larger devices at an affordable price point.
Talking about the smartphone itself, it has a massive 6-inch display on the front with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 i.e. 1080p. Internally, it is powered by a Snapdragon 625 SoC which is coupled with 2GB of RAM. The smartphone has 16GB of internal storage along with an option to further expand the same. In terms of the camera, we are looking at a dual rear camera setup at the back, which definitely comes as a surprise since it is more like a mid-ranged smartphone.
Both the sensors at the back in the dual rear camera setup are of 13MP, whereas on the front we have a 5MP sensor for selfies. On the software side of things, we have Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow out of the box and it also has a 4,000 mAh battery. According to the company, this battery should be good for a talk time of up to 40 hours, or a stand-by time of up to 31 days, which is quite impressive. Other hardware features include a fingerprint scanner on the back right below that camera sensor.
Interestingly the smartphone also has a DAC which is nothing but Digital-to-Analog Convertor. This should definitely provide a high quality audio experience. So as of now the only downside of this smartphone seems to be the Marshmallow software. The company has also not talked much about updating it to Android 7.o Nougat as well. As far as the pricing is concerned, the ZTE Blade MAX 3 is priced at $199.99 or $12.5 per month for 24 months. It is now available in the U.S and you can get it via U.S Cellular.
