Gionee S11 Smartphone spotted on TENNA with 6.01” Display and Fingerprint Sensor

Recently we have seen Gionee unveiling its M7 smartphone with a big 6.01-inch display and now a new device called as Gionee S11 has been spotted online on TENAA with the same 6.01-inch display. According to the listing, the device will feature a dual front and rear camera setup and also 2.5GHz Octa-core processor but according to earlier leaks from Geekbench, it was listed that the device will come with an MT6763 SoC. From the image shown, the handset will sport a unibody metal design and also a fingerprint sensor on the rear with the companies branding.

According to the rumored specifications of the handset, the Gionee S11 will be sporting a 6.01-inch (2160 × 1080 pixels) 18:9 FHD+ FullView AMOLED 2.5D curved glass touchscreen display. Under the hood, the is a 2.5GHz Octa-Core Processor coupled with a huge 6GB of RAM. The onboard storage is 64GB which will be extended further up to a maximum of 128GB via microSD card slot. The handset will come with a Hybrid Dual SIM slot and will also sport a fingerprint sensor to enhance the security levels.

Out of the box, the S11 will come with Android 7.1.1 Nougat operating system with Amigo OS v5.0 on top. Nothing is known about the further updates yet. On the rear, there is a 16MP camera sensor with dual-tone LED flash accompanied with an 8MP secondary camera, while on the front it sports a 20MP camera along with an 8MP secondary front camera. To power the device the company has provided a 3600mAh battery which is builtin and expected to support fast charging also.

There are connectivity options like 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4 + 5GHz), Bluetooth v4.2, GPS, and A-GPS. Measuring 155.82 x 72.58 x 6.95mm the device weighs 177.8 grams. There is no news on the pricing or the launch date yet but we can expect it to be unveiled soon.
