OnePlus 5 and OnePlus 5T Can’t Stream Netflix & Amazon Prime Video in HD
OnePlus devices have been found with several bugs in its OS. According to the latest report, the OnePlus 5 & OnePlus 5T aren’t supporting HD playback on video streaming services like Netflix and Amazon Prime Video. However, the same issue is also found other budget-catering high-end smartphones. OnePlus is already said to be looking in to issue and will be fixing with the future software update.
Honor 8 & Honor 8 Pro to Soon Receive the Android 8.0 Oreo Update
Huawei has already launched quite a few smartphones running on Android 8.0 Oreo-based EMUI 8.0 out of the box. The Honor V10 (a.k.a Honor View 10) is also announced with the latest EMUI 8.0. Now, the company is said to be beta testing the latest Android 8.0 Oreo for the Honor 8 & Honor 8 Pro smartphones. While there is no exact information, the public roll-out can be expected in early 2018. Even the recently launched Honor 7X might receive EMUI 8.0 update in January 2018.
Vivo V5s Smartphone with 20MP Selfie Camera Gets Another Price Cut
The Vivo V5s launched as an upgrade to the Vivo V5 already got a price-cut of Rs. 1,000 in India. Now, the company has further decreased the price to bring the current retail to Rs. 15,990. The device was first launched in April this year for Rs 18,990. It can be purchased from both online and offline stores. Just yesterday, Xiaomi has announced the Rs. 1,000 price drop on the popular Mi A1 dual camera smartphone.
Harman Kardon Allure with Amazon Alexa Launched in India for Rs. 22,499
Earlier this year, Amazon introduced the Echo range of smart speakers with Alexa AI in India. Now, Harman Kardon has launched the premium smart speaker called Harman Kardon Allure with built-in Amazon Alexa support for Rs. 22,499. It packs 4-microphone array with advanced noise cancellation technology for better noise cancellation and better hands-free voice control. It comes in Black color and is exclusively sold through Amazon India.
OnePlus is Giving Away 10,000 Tickets for StarWars: The Last Jedi Movie
In the next few days, OnePlus will be launching the OnePlus 5T Star Wars Limited Edition smartphone in India. Today, the company also announced to offer 10,000 tickets of the StarWars: The Last Jedi movie for its users in India. The user can claim the one ticket by entering the IMEI number of their OnePlus device. This promotion is only limited to its users in Mumbai, Pune, Hyderabad, Chandigarh, Chennai, Kolkata, Delhi, Bangalore and Kochi.
Vodafone Brings a New Rs 176 Unlimited Plan with 1GB Data/Day
While Reliance Jio is increasing the price of its unlimited plans, Airtel and Vodafone are now offering value for money unlimited plans in the country. The new Rs 176 plan from Vodafone with 28 days validity comes with unlimited local, STD, & roaming calls and 1GB data per day. Unlike the Rs 198 unlimited plan from Airtel, Vodafone is only offering data at 2G speeds. As of now, this new plan is only limited to Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh circles.
