Honor 7S is Now Official With 5.45″ 18:9 Display & MediaTek MT6739 SoC
Earlier this month, the Honor 7S smartphone was spotted on company’s official website. Today, it was officially unveiled in Pakistan for PKR 14,499 (approx $ 125 / Rs 8,500). The Honor 7S comes in Black, Blue, and Gold color options. We also expect the company to launch this new budget smartphone in the other Asian and European markets soon.
The Honor 7S comes with the polycarbonate shell and sports an 18:9 display on the front. Recently, the company launched the Honor 7A and Honor 7C smartphones in India. Unlike the Honor 7S, these two smartphones came with dual rear cameras and are powered by Snapdragon processors. Talking about the Honor 7S, it comes with MediaTek MT6739 quad-core processor.
On the front is a 5.45-inch HD+ (1440 x 720 pixels) display with 18:9 aspect ratio. There is 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage on this device. The user can also expand the storage up to 256GB using the dedicated MicroSD card slot. It lacks the fingerprint sensor but comes with face unlock option.
In terms of optics, the Honor 7S sports a 13MP rear camera with LED flash and a 5MP front camera for selfies. There is also a soft LED flash on the front for better selfies even in low light. It runs on the Android 8.1 Oreo-based EMUI 8.1 out of the box. The Honor 7S comes with a triple card slot for adding two nano SIM cards along with one MicroSD card.
The device is backed by a 3,020mAh battery and lacks fast charging support. Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, 3.5mm audio jack, and a MicroUSB 2.0 port. It will be measuring 146.5 x 70.9 x 8.3 and weighs 142 grams. Stay tuned on Phone Radar for more details!
