Samsung Galaxy J4 Unveiled with 5.5″ 16:9 Display & Exynos 7570 SoC
Just yesterday, Samsung launched the Galaxy J6 and Galaxy J8 smartphones with Super AMOLED Infinity Display in India. Today, the company announced a much Galaxy J4 smartphone. While the other two J-series smartphones came with Super AMOLED Infinity displays, the Galaxy J4 comes with a 16:9 Super AMOLED display. In terms of design, the device comes with a plastic removable back panel.
With the standard 16:9 display, the Galaxy J4 comes with a front-facing home button with capacitive navigation buttons on either side of it. Also, there is no fingerprint sensor on this device. On the front is a 5.5-inch Super AMOLED display with HD (1280 x 72 pixels) resolution. Under the hood is the in-house Exynos 7570 octa-core processor clocked at 1.4GHz. The Galaxy J4 runs on Android 8.0 Oreo out of the box with Samsung Experience UI laid on top.
The device is backed by a 3,000mAh battery and lacks fast charging support. It measures 151.7 x 77.2 x 8.1 mm and weighs 145 grams. Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, 3.5mm audio jack, and a MicroUSB 2.0 port. The company is yet to reveal the pricing and availability of the Galaxy J4 smartphone.
