Honor Play 7 with 5.45″ 18:9 Display Launched in China for Rs 6,500
Earlier this week, Huawei’s online exclusive sub-brand Honor launched the flagship Honor 10 in the global markets. Today, the company came up with a new entry-level smartphone called Honor Play 7 for the Chinese market. Just like the other Honor smartphones launched in 2018, the new Honor Play 7 also comes with a FullView display on the front.
As it comes with an affordable price tag, the company has opted for the polycarbonate body. It sports a 5.45-inch FullView display with HD+ (1440 x 720 pixels) resolution and 18:9 aspect ratio. On the top, there is also a 2.5D curved glass. Under the hood is the 64-bit MediaTek MT6739 quad-core processor.
The Honor Play 7 comes with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage. There is also a dedicated MicroSD card slot for the further expanding up to 256GB. In the camera department, the smartphone comes with a 13MP rear camera with PDAF and a 5MP front camera for selfies. Both the front and rear camera are accompanied by a LED flash.
It runs on the latest Android 8.1 Oreo-based EMUI 8.1 out of the box. The device comes with triple card slot for adding two nano SIM cards and also one MicroSD card. The Honor Play 7 is backed by a 3,020mAh non-removable battery. Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, 3.5mm audio jack, and a MicroUSB 2.0 port.
It measures 146.5 × 70.9 × 8.3 mm and weighs 142 grams. The device comes in Black, Blue, and Gold color options. It is priced at 599 Yuan (approx $95 / Rs. 6,500) and is currently available for pre-order. Stay tuned on PhoneRadar more details!
