Meizu M8c with 5.45″ HD+ 18:9 Display Launched in Russia
In the last few months, Meizu has launched quite a few smartphones in China. Apart from the high-end Meizu 15 smartphones, there are also few budget devices including the Meizu M6s. Later this month, the company will also unveil the Meizu M6T smartphone. In between this, the company now launched the low-cost Meizu M8c smartphone in Russia. The device is priced at RUB 9,990 (approx $160 / Rs. 11,000).
It comes in Red, Gold, Black, and Blue color options and is already on sale. Considering the budget price tag, the device comes with a polycarbonate body. The device sports a 5.45-inch IPS display with HD+ (1440 x 720 pixels) resolution and 18:9 aspect ratio. Under the hood is the 64 -bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 quad-core processor clocked at 1.4GHz. It comes coupled with Adreno 308 GPU and 2GB of RAM.
There is 16GB of internal storage that can be expandable up to 128GB using a MicroSD card. In the camera department, there is a 13MP rear camera with f/2.2 aperture and an 8MP front camera with f/2.0 aperture. It is backed by a 3,070mAh non-removable battery which should give at least a day-long usage. While the power button and volume rocker are placed on the right edge, the SIM card slot is on the left edge.
146.4 x 70 x 8.5 mm and 140 grams. Connectivity options include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a / b / g / n, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS, 3.5mm audio jack, and a MicroUSB 2.0 port. There are also light, distance, and gravity sensors on this device. As of now, there is no information about the availability of this device on other markets.
