Apple to Launch Biggest Ever iPhone in 2019

At the WWDC, Apple is rumored to launch the iPhone SE 2 with iPhone X-like design. However, the company has limited itself to announce just new OS upgrades across all its products lineup. Apart from the rumored iPhone SE 2, the company is rumored to launch three new iPhones in the second half of 2019. Even last year, the company has launched three iPhones – iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus, and iPhone X. Out of the three upcoming iPhones, one will be offering the largest ever screen size we have seen on any iPhone.

While plus variant of the iPhone sports 5.5-inch display, the iPhone X came with a 5.8-inch display but in a smaller body. Now in 2019, the company will be launching iPhones with 5.8-inch, 6.1-inch, and 6.5-inch screen sizes. Instead of launching all iPhones with OLED displays, the company is rumored to launch one device with an LCD display. The 5.8-inch and 6.5-inch iPhones might be launched as newer iPhone X and iPhone X Plus. The one with 6.1-inch display is said to come with an LCD panel.

Based on the leaks, the company seems to have opted for an LCD display to have more units in stock and also keep an aggressive price tag. The base variant of the current-gen iPhone X is retailing for $999. It will be interesting to know at what price Apple might launch these three new iPhones. The iPhone X comes with 82.9% screen-to-body ratio and 19.5:9 aspect ratio. In the last few months, we have seen quite a few Android smartphones with more than 90% screen-to-body. With the upcoming iPhones, we don’t think Apple get rid of the notch on the top.
