Samsung Galaxy Note 9 with Bixby 2.0 Might Launch on August 9th

Samsung will be unveiling the Galaxy Note series smartphone in the second half of every year. This year, we will be looking at the Galaxy Note 9 as the successor to last year’s Galaxy Note 8. The latest report from Bloomberg suggests the company might actually unveil their new flagship smartphone as early as August 9th. If this comes out true, then the launch date of this year’s Galaxy Note device is almost two weeks ahead of the Galaxy Note 8’s launch date.

The company might have opted for the sooner launch of the Galaxy Note 9 to stay ahead of the upcoming iPhone X shipping dates. Last year’s Galaxy Note 8 went on sale in the US only after the announcements of iPhone X and iPhone 8. While the previous leaks mentioned the Galaxy Note 9 to be launch by the end of July, the last minute changes in the design have pushed the launch date further to early August.

While the US and Chinese variants will come powered by 10nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chipset, the other markets will be getting the Exynos 9810 powered Galaxy Note 9 devices. The device even got listed on Geekbench where it has scored 2737 in single core test and 9064 in the multi-core test. It will be coming with dual rear cameras and will also feature dual aperture option introduced globally with the Samsung Galaxy S9 devices.

Since there is more than two months time, there are also chances for the changes in the launch date. Stay tuned on Phone Radar for more details!
