Sony Xperia XZ3 Leaked with 5.7″ 18:9 Display, Snapdragon 845 SoC, & 19MP Dual Rear Cameras

At the MWC 2018, Sony is the first smartphone manufacturer to actually unveil the Snapdragon 845-powered smartphones. The company then launched the Xperia XZ2 and XZ2 Compact smartphones. Now, the new leaks suggest the Sony Xperia XZ3 to launch at the upcoming IFA 2018 in early September. While we are yet to get the first look of the device, the complete specifications are now available.

Even before the Google Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL, the Sony Xperia XZ3 might come with Android P out of the box. It sports a 5.7-inch Full HD+ (2160 x 1080 pixels) display with 18:9 aspect ratio. The Xperia XZ2 also came with the same screen size and resolution. Under the hood is the 10nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 Mobile Platform coupled with Adreno 630 GPU and 6GB of RAM.

The Xperia XZ3 will be available in 64GB and 128GB storage variants. Also, the device includes the MicroSD card slot for expanding the storage up to 400GB. In the camera department, the Xperia XZ3 sports the same set of cameras as seen on the Xperia XZ2 Premium. The dual camera setup on the rear features 19MP primary sensor with f/1.8 aperture and a 12MP secondary sensor with f/1.6 aperture.

For selfies, there is a 13MP camera on the front of the device. The Xperia XZ3 is backed by a 3,240mAh battery and supports Quick Charge 3.0 fast charging technology. It measures 153 x 72 x 10.1 mm and weighs 183 grams. The device supports dual SIM dual standby and is also IP68 certified water and dust resistant. Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5, NFC, and USB 3.1 Type-C port.
