OPPO R17 Pro to Come With Galaxy Note 9-like Variable Aperture Camera
OPPO will be launching the OPPO F9 Pro smartphone in India on August 21st. In china, the company has listed the OPPO R17 smartphone with complete specifications on its official website. While the OPPO R17 and R17 Pro launch event is scheduled for August 18th, we will get to know the pricing on the launch day. While we expect the OPPO R17 Pro to look similar to OPPO R17, there will be a few changes in the specifications.
While the OPPO R17 comes with dual camera setup on the rear, the OPPO R17 Pro will be offering triple camera setup. However, the company has officially confirmed the OPPO R17 Pro to come with variable aperture like camera feature. OPPO is calling it as smart aperture and the device uses AI to choose the f/1.5 or f/2.4 aperture automatically. The variable aperture is introduced globally with the Galaxy S9 devices and is also available on the newly launched Galaxy Note 9.
OPPO has shown us a lot of innovative features with the flagship OPPO Find X smartphone. The 93.8% screen ratio of OPPO Find X is the highest we have ever seen on any smartphone. With the OPPO F9 Pro and R17 smartphones, the company is introducing the waterdrop screen with v-shaped notch. The 6.4-inch notch display will be offering 91.5% screen-to-body ratio and the notch on the top will be holding a 25MP selfie camera.
It will also be the first OPPO smartphone to come with in-display fingerprint sensor. Under the hood, the OPPO R17 devices will come powered by the new 10nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 Mobile Platform. Stay tuned on PhoneRadar for more details!
