ASUS Transformer 3 Pro launched with 3K Display & 16GB RAM at IFA 2016
Along with ZenWatch 3 & the ZenPad 3S 10, ASUS also launched the Transformer 3 Pro. So this is more of a portable PC kind of approach of the company and it adds as a successor to the existing line up. This 2-in-1 tablet is pretty much a laptop replacement. This device is made out of aluminium and measures only 8.35mm in thickness.
As far as the specs are concerned, this is a pretty good device. It has a beautiful 12.6-inch display on the front with 3K resolution and has 121 percent color gamut. The device is powered by Intel Core i7 processor and packs 16GB of RAM. It has 1TB of SSD for storage. On the camera side, we have a 13-megapixel rear facing camera. Other hardware features include a USB Type-C port, HDMI & Thunderbolt 3 ports.
The device will be available in Icicle Gold & Glacier Gray color options. Users can use a cover keyboard to type more comfortably, and it also has a metal kickstand that will assure the right placement at the right angle. There also a couple interesting new accessories that you can purchase like the ASUS Pen, Universal Dock, Audio Pod and the best one is the ROG XG Station 2, which is basically a GPU support for desktop level graphics.
So looking at all the specs and features, it looks like a very worthy upgrade to go for. This new ASUS Transformer 3 Pro is priced at 1,44,990 INR in India. If you are willing pay that much for a 2-in-1 tablet, then this is the best one to go for. Stay tuned for more info on this and other launches from the company.
