TCL 598 Smartphone with 5.5″ Display & Dual Rear Cameras Spotted online
The Chinese Smartphone manufacturer TCL is being very active lately in terms of smartphone launches. Just a couple of days back we saw an upcoming device from the manufacturer in works. And now we have yet another smartphone in works. This time, a new device has been spotted on TENAA. So looking at the listing, we get to see some very interesting features about the device. The device is listed as TCL 598.
As you can tell from the images, the most noticeable feature are the dual rear cameras. And even more interestingly, there are two camera sensors on the front as well. Well, it could be a dual camera setup or one could be a sensor for an Iris scanner as well. It is hard to tell at this point, but the listing suggests that it could be an Iris scanner. Now taking a look at the hardware, we get to see some interesting set of specs. On the front there will be a 5.5-inch display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 i.e. FHD.
It will an IPS display. The device is going to be powered by a 2.3 GHz CPU. The exact model is unknown at this point in time. The device also packs 4GB of RAM, along with 64GB of internal storage. The internal storage is expandable via a microSD card for up to 128GB. For the camera, as it is mentioned earlier, this device has a dual camera setup for the back. Both the cameras are 13-megapixel sensors and there is going to be a 5-megapixel camera on the front for the selfies, according to the listing.
The device will be running Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box for software. Also, the device will be kept powered by a 3,030 mAh battery. The device dimensions are 152.6×75.4×8.7(mm) and it weighs in at about 157 grams. The device will be available Champagne gold, dark gray color options.
