Sony Xperia X Compact with SD820 SoC & 16MP Camera Listed Online
Last week we saw the Xperia X Compact for the first time. The leaked image of the Xperia X Compact started circulating the internet. The design of this new Xperia X Compact was very similar other devices from the Xperia line up. We didn’t have much to report with the device specs since only the renders were leaked. But now the device was spotted again and this time, we have some detailed look at the device specs.
As far as the specs are concerned, the device is going to be powered by a Snapdragon 820 chipset coupled with 4GB of RAM. It will also have 64GB of internal storage onboard. The smartphone will have a 4.6-inch display on the front which is a 1080p panel with a resolution of 1920 x 1080. In terms of camera, we are looking at a 13-megapxiel rear facing camera and an 8-megapixel front facing selfie shooter. So all the other rumours about the device packing a 23-megapixel sensors etc. have been put to an end.
Another thing to notice here is the software. It is listed as CyanogenMod. Well, we all know that Sony has it’s own skin which runs on top of the stock Android. Yes, of course, these devices can be flashed with CyanogenMod later on, but it doesn’t make any sense for them to ship it with that software. So we suggest you not to take these specs seriously and wait for the official specs. It is reported that the device will be launching on September 24th, which was initially reported to be launching at IFA. Either way, the device will b launching soon so stay tuned to Phone Radar for more detailed info about the device as we will update once we have more details in coming weeks.
