Blu launches Pure XR with octa-core processor, 4GB RAM & Fingerprint Sensor at $299
The American smartphone manufacturing company BLU, is known for launching affordable budget smartphones. The company also launched the Energy XL recently, which is a great device for the price point. On the same lines, the company launched yet another smartphone called the Pure XR. This device will be an addition to the existing Pure lineup.
So talking about this new device, it looks very compelling for the price. As far as the specs go, we are looking at a 5.5-inch display with FHD resolution i.e. 1080p. This is Super AMOLD display which is covered by Gorilla Glass 3 and has 3D touch. The device is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio P10 (6755) CPU, and the Mali-T860 GPU is here for graphics rendering. For the camera, it has a 16-megapixel rear facing camera and an 8-megapixel front facing shooter. There is also a fingerprint scanner on the front and the device is kept powered by a 3,000 mAh battery. The device has 64GB of internal storage, which is expandable via a microSD card up to another 64GB.
For software, it will be running the Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box. Other noteworthy features include enhanced sound features from DTS and the MediaTek fast charge capabilities. It has a full metal construction and looks and feels nice in the hand. Talking about the price, this is available for $299 unlocked in gold and grey colour options. If you are interested in purchasing this, then you will be able to do so from Amazon or Best buy.
The company says that you can use it on AT&T, T-Mobile, and MetroPCS. So yet again this an impressive device from the company for the price at which it is sold for.
