New Fitbit Charge 2 and Flex 2 Fitness Bands Launched at $150 & $99 Respectively

Fitbit Charge 2 & Flex 2

Fitness has finally refreshed their recent lineup with the launch of the all new Charge 2 and the Flex 2 Fitness bands. The earlier leaks have turned out to be true but it seems like Fitbit is launching the new bands quite earlier than expected. The new Charge 2 costs $150, while the Flex 2 costs $99 in the US and we are waiting for details from Fitbit when they are going to launch it in India.

Talking about the bands in detail, the new Charge 2 comes with a larger 1.5-inch display along with new tracking feature & software enhancements. While the flex 2 comes with slimmer design and is swim-capable.

Earlier Aug 18: Fitbit is all set to launch two new products this year. Well, it might happen very soon as we already have some images of what appears to be final products. The new Fitbit Charge 2 and the Flex 2 fitness bands posed for these pictures that surfaced on the internet yesterday. Looking at the images, we have a detailed look at both these products in all its glory.

Talking about the Fitbit Charge 2, it appears to be launching in three colours i.e. the blue, black and the plum which we have already seen previously with their other products. But looking at the design, the Fitbit Charge 2 sports a bigger display this time around. The previously launched Fitbit Charge had a small display on the front. Also, it features Heart Rate sensor, an activity tracker to track the activity all day with support for multiple sports tracking. It will also show smartphone notifications and also the bands are interchangeable.

Now talking about the Flex 2, it sports a new design, this time around with a slim band. Also interestingly, this time, it is listed as swim-proof whereas the previous version was only sweat, rain, and splash-proof. Also if you look at the image, then you will notice how the orientation of the indicator lights have been changed and this time also there is not display with this one.

So looking at these two new band images, it appears that the company is trying to make the existing bands better by pushing more features. We also expect some new product upgrades for the Fitbit Blaze etc. but it is not confirmed yet, and we don’t have any rumours to support the same. Also, the company is expanding in India with new offline retailers. So meanwhile, take a look at these two new bands and decide which one to go for. Stay tuned for info on these.
