As suspected Reliance Jio has fired a missile as their leaked plans, suggest that company is going on quite aggressive over the pricing wars among 4G service providers in India. The leaked plans listed on company’s official website states that its consumers might be getting a 60GB data pack at just Rs 400.
With mind blowing speeds and now these data tariffs plans, Mukesh Ambani-led company is sure going to disrupt the telecom industry in the country. Up until now, there wasn’t any concrete numbers leaked, but these numbers coming in now showcases that we may be getting 10GB data plans at as low as Rs 50 with the validity of 30 days.
Moreover, the leaked image also suggests that there would be 500 minutes of voice calls free and access to two Jio premium apps would be free for the same period. It would also include 100 SMSs. Note that after free data cap is finished, there isn’t any information on what would be the charge per MB or KB. Though, we expect it to be quite low when compared to plans from Bharti Airtel, IDEA Cellular and Vodafone India.
The tariff plans leaked applies for prepaid customers only. There would be three more plans ranging from Rs 100, Rs 200 and Rs 400. The benefits are double on Rs 100 plan as you would get 20 GB 4G data cap free, as well as 200 SMSs and 1000 minutes voice calls. Similarly, for Rs 200 and Rs 400 the data cap, increases to 40GB and 60 GB respectively. As well as voice and SMSs.
Reliance Jio 4G has 6 Million+ Live Users, No New SIM Cards to be Issued for few days
The company has been seen extending JIO Preview Offer to a lot of smartphone brands under partner offers. Up until now, more than a dozen of handsets maker have joined hands with JIO to be eligible for accessing free 90 days unlimited 4G data and voice.
We exclusively reported that company has reached 6 Million plus subscribers base and is expecting it to go up to 10 Million before the Annual General Meeting (AGM) happening on September 1st. It is the date when Mr Ambani is scheduled to reveal the final date of the commercial launch.
We would recommend that you take above information of leaked prepaid tariffs for JIO as a grain of salt. As nothing can’t be confirmed until the company itself, announce the plans.
