Google Pixel & Pixel XL specs gets leaked yet again a day before it’s official announcement
Google is all set to announce the two new devices i.e. Pixel and the Pixel XL smartphones on October 5th (India). We pretty know everything about these two devices, thanks to all the leaks. But now i.e. just a day before the official announcement of the smartphones, we have final confirmation on the specs of the devices as well as clear look at them. This time, the smartphones have been listed Carphone Warehouse website. And do make a note that these are not rumours but the final specs itself.
Well, when you talk about the specs of these two devices, the Google Pixel XL comes with a 5.5-inch AMOLED display on the front with a resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels. The display is protected by a Gorilla Glass 4 on the front. The smartphone is powered by a snapdragon 821 processor which is a quad-core CPU clocked at 2.15 GHz and is coupled with an Adreno 530 GPU. It packs 4GB of RAM and comes in two variants i.e. a 32GB and a 128GB.

Talking about the camera here, we are looking at a 12-megapixel rear facing shooter with a f/2.0 aperture and OIS on board. On the front, we have an 8-megapixel front facing selfie shooter. And as usual, the device will run Android 7.1 Nougat out of the box and will also have a fingerprint scanner at the back. It will be interesting to see what the company will name the fingerprint scanner, this time, around as it used to be called the ‘Nexus Imprint’ earlier. The entire package will be kept powered by a 3,490 mAh battery.
Now when we talk about the smaller variant which is called the Google Pixel, it pretty much packs the same specs as that of the Pixel XL. The only difference which we will see is in terms of the display size which is going to be of 5-inches and it will an FHD display unlike the QHD found on the Pixel XL smartphone. Also, since the device is comparatively smaller, the battery will be cut down to a smaller 2,770 mAh capacity. We hope the battery back will be good with this as well since it has way fewer pixels to push through on the display.
However, what was not mentioned on the website was pricing. So as of now we only have the complete specs and the final look at the devices. But as the devices will be launching in just a matter of a few hours now, the wait is not too long. However, according to the previous rumours, it is expected that the devices will be priced on the same lines of last year or slightly on the higher side. So if you are in the market of either of these smartphones, then be ready to shed some serious cash. Stay tuned to Phone Radar for more detailed info on these devices as we will update once we have more details on them in coming days.
