LeEco Enters U.S Market with eUI Powered 2 Smartphones & 4 Smart TVs

LeEco is one of the Chinese largest technology company that is earlier known as LeTV. It is the largest video company in China and is also called as Netflix of China. It has the debuted the Chinese smartphone market in mid 2015 and has entered India in early 2016. Apart from the smartphones, the company also sells SmartTV in both China and India. The company hasn’t stopped by just selling smartphones and smart TVs. It also has an Android powered SuperBike and a self-driving EV car called LeSEE. At the launch event, the company also announced the upgraded LeSEE Pro EV car. The LeShare is an electric vehicle sharing service where the user can upload the driving license in the app to get the vehicle from the nearest LeShare station.

Today, the company has made its grand entry into the U.S market by launching a bunch of products. The Le Pro 3 is the company flagship smartphone powered by Snapdragon 821 quad-core processor. It was recently launched in China. It comes with Aluminum body and lacks the 3.5mm audio port. The device comes with the in-house CDLA technology that offers digital audio output through the USB Type-C port. On the front, it sports a 5.5-inch Full HD In-cell Display and a 2.5D glass laid on top The 2.35GHz Snapdragon 821 processor is coupled with 4GB of LPDDR4 RAM and 64GB UFS 2.0 storage. It is the slimmest smartphone from LeEco measuring just 7.5mm thickness.

There is a 16MP rear camera with PDAF & f/2.0 aperture and an 8MP selfie camera with wide-angle lens. It is backed by a 4,070mAh non-removable battery that also supports Quick Charge 3.0. Talking about the second smartphone for the U.S customers, the LeEco Le S3 is a mid-range device with superior build quality. It is the same Le 2 smartphone that was launched in India and China but with a different name. It comes with a 5.5-inch Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) display and includes Snapdragon 652 octa-core processor. Just like the earlier mentioned Le Pro 3, the Le S3 also misses the standard audio port but comes with USB Type-C earphones and a 3.5mm to USB Type-C adapter.

It has 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. There is a 16MP rear camera, an 8MP front camera, and a 3,000mAh battery. On the back of the Le S3, we can also find the fingerprint sensor. Even before launching their SuperTV in India, LeEco made it available first in the U.S. Today, the company has unveiled four new smartTV’s – Super4 X43 Pro, Super4 X55, Super4 X65, and the premium uMax85 TV for the U.S market. Unlike the Super3 TV that was launched earlier, it comes with much better UI which is slightly tweaked to offer the best experience for the U.S customers. LeEco has recently purchased the top U.S based TV maker, Vizio for $2 billion. With this deal, all the upcoming Vizio’s TV will be running on the same LeEco eUI which runs on the TVs that are launched today.
