Big leak reveals the Final Apple iPhone 8 design that might launch in September
You are reading a story from PhoneRadar.
Apple‘s upcoming iPhones are currently one of the hot topics in the smartphone industry. From wireless charging to the bezel-less display for the iPhone 8 model, we have been hearing a ton of rumors and speculations about the new iPhones. However, the truth being told, we haven’t had any solid info confirming some details about these rumors. Although we heard a lot about the design, we never got to see what it looks like. But now it looks like we have some solid evidence on the final design for the upcoming iPhone.
According to the new report which we have, a schematic diagram has been spotted which reveals what is said to be the final design of the 10th anniversary iPhone. It has been reported that this particular diagram is leaked by a Foxconn insider and it is also said that this diagram is the one which is being used in the manufacturing process to help build the device. Taking a look at the diagram, we have a lot of info to digest here. First of all, we can see that the front of the device is almost completely taken by the display.
This display will measure 5.8″ in size and it will be an OLED display and Apple is going for a 2.5D curved glass on top. The display tech on the front looks too good to be true for the most part. The front facing camera will have the 3D scanner for face recognition, as it was leaked earlier as well. The source also mentions that the side button won’t be mechanical. Users won’t be able to press them, however, there will be a haptic feedback as you change the volume or press the power button just like what we have with the current home button.
On the front, as we can, the touch ID will be embedded into the display. This is completely different from what we saw last time when it was mentioned that the iPhone 8 will have a separate scanner at the back. But what matches the previous rumors is the fact that the camera sensor will be laid out in a vertical fashion. This is certainly not the best implementation but it works just fine. Although we have the images to back this leak, we suggest you take this info with a pinch of salt and wait for any official confirmation or more similar leaks.
As for the launch date of this device, it looks like we will be seeing it sometime in September as some of the previous rumors suggest that. Having said that, we would love to know your opinion on this. Are you excited for the iPhone 8 looking at this leak?
