Tecno Mobile Launches Tecno i3, i3 Pro, i5, i5 Pro, & i7 Smartphones in India

Transsion Holdings is a Chinese conglomerate specialized in mobile communication. Last year, it entered the Indian smartphone market by launching the iTel brand. Now in 2017, the company introduced a new smartphone brand called Tecno Mobile. It also announced the first five smartphones under this new brand – Tecno i3, i3 Pro, i5, i5 Pro, and i7. While most of the Chinese brands themselves limited to online stores, Tecno Mobiles will be concentrating on the offline, but they haven’t ruled out the online sales. In the initial stage, the company will be limited to Punjab, Rajasthan, and Gujarat. The company has mentioned selling through 129 distributors in these three states and has more than 10,000 touch points.

All these devices support dual SIM dual standby and offer 4G VoLTE and ViLTE connectivity. The costliest device among the lot, the Techno i7 priced at Rs. 14,990 will be available from early May. It comes with a 5.5-inch Full HD display is powered by 1.5GHz octa-core processor. The device comes with 4GB of RAM and 32GB of expandable storage. It runs on Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box and sports a 13MP rear camera and a16MP selfie camera. Apart from the high-resolution cameras, it also comes with a huge 4,000mAh battery.

Talking about the Tecno Mobile i3 and i3 Pro, both these devices comes with same design and specifications except the RAM. The Tecno Mobile i3 is priced at Rs. 7,990 whereas the Tecno Mobile i3 Pro costs Rs. 9,990. They come with a 5-inch HD (1280 x 720 pixels) IPS display. While the Tecno Mobile i3 packs 2GB of RAM, the Tecno Mobile i3 Pro includes 3GB of RAM. Both these devices include 16GB of internal storage and 8MP front and rear cameras. The Tecno Mobile i3 & i3 Pro are backed by a 3,050mAh battery, and the i3 Pro additionally comes with a fingerprint sensor.

The Tecno Mobile i5 and i5 Pro are priced at Rs. 11,490 and Rs. 12,990 respectively. Inside the metal built body is a MediaTek MT6737T coupled with 2GB/3GB of RAM and 16GB/32GB of onboard storage. Beneath the 5.5-inch HD IPS display is the physical home button with a fingerprint sensor. In the camera department, there is a 13MP rear camera, an 8MP front camera, and a 4,000mAh battery. The Tecno Mobile i3 and i5 devices will be available in Champagne Gold, Sky Black, and Space Grey color options. The device will go on sale from Wednesday in the above mentioned three states,
