Honor Holly 4 Smartphone Launched in India with 5” Display for Rs. 11999

Huawei’s sub-brand Honor has launched a new device called as Honor Holly 4 in India for Rs. 11,999. The device was initially launched in China as Honor 6A a few months back and is also the successor of the Honor Holly 3. The handset will be available in Grey, Gold, and Silver color variants and will be available across all the Honor partner stores across the country. This midrange smartphone also sports a fingerprint sensor on the rear and has a metal body giving it an elegant feel.
Coming tot he specifications of the handset, the Holly 4 will come with 5-inch HD (1280 x 720) touchscreen display. Under the hood, there is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 Octa-core SoC (4 x 1.2 GHz Cortex A53 + 4 x 1.5 GHz Cortex A53) 64-bit Mobile Platform couple with 3GB of RAM and Adreno 505 GPU. The onboard storage of the device is limited to 32GB which can be extended further up to a maximum of 128GB via microSD card slot.
Out of the box, the handset will feature Android 7.0 Nougat operating system but nothing is mentioned about the further updates yet.
The device comes with hybrid Dual SIM slots, wherein the first slot supports micro size SIM while the second slot supports Nano SIM or a microSD card slot. There is a 13MP rear-facing camera with LED flash and has PDAF, 28mm 5P lens and can record 1080p videos accompanied with 5MP front-facing camera. There is a 3020mAh battery on the rear which should be good enough to last an entire days charge.
The handset measures 143.7 x 70.95 x 8.2 mm and weighs 144 grams. There are connectivity options like Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.1 GPS, A-GPS and 3.5 audio jack. This device is a festive offering to the Indian customers as mentioned by the company and is confident of upping their game in the sub 15-k segment. What do you think of this device?
