HTC U11 Life Android One leaks online with Snapdragon 630 SoC & 3GB RAM
You are reading a story from PhoneRadar.
Back in July, we have seen Specifications of the HTC Ocean Life Smartphone which is upcoming mid-ranger and later it was followed by leaks from the famous leakster LlabTooFeR who said that the device will be coming under the Android One program. Now there are new leaks from the same tipster who has shared the specs sheet of the upcoming smartphone which reveals that the device will be water-resistant and also shared that it will be coming with two different storage options.
The Taiwanese smartphone manufacturer HTC just recently launched the new HTC U11 smartphone. The smartphone was well received in the market, mainly due to the fact that it has some interesting features like the new HTCC Edge sense, which essentially lets you squeeze the phone to make it do things for you. However, now it looks like the company is planning on launching yet another device in the market by the end of this year called the HTC U11 Life.
According to the new reports which we have, it looks like this new HTC U11 Life will be the same device “HTC Ocean Life” device, which we have been hearing about for the last few months. This is expected to be sort of a mid-range device from the company. Talking about its specs, it looks like it will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 SoC, which in fact contradicts a few reports which claimed it will carry Snapdragon 660 SoC. At this point in time, there is not a lot known about how much it will have, however, it looks like it will have 32GB of internal storage, which can also be further expanded up to 2TB via a MicroSD card.
The HTC U11 Life will also sport the same Edge sense feature which the HTC U11 is quite popularly known for. This means that the company is not hesitating to bring the new feature to other non-flagship smartphones as well. And it has also been reported that it will come with IP67 certification and a pair of HTC USonic earbuds with active noise cancellation, within the box. For those of you who don’t know, these pair of earbuds connect via the USB Type C port and hence it looks like the HTC U11 Life will also skip the 3.5mm headphone jack. However, don’t take our word for that and wait for the official info.
As far as the availability of this smartphone goes, it has been reported that it will be available through T-Mobile in the U.S. However, it looks like the unlocked variants will be sold through the company’s official website as well. Unfortunately, this is all the info which we have right now and we suggest you wait for further info.
