Coolpad Note 6 with 5.5″ 16:9 Display & Dual Selfie Cameras Launched
Last year, Coolpad launched the Cool Play 6 smartphone exclusively on Amazon India with an aggressive price tag. Even though the device came with comparatively better specifications than other smartphones at its price range, the device failed to compete with the likes of Xiaomi and Honor devices. While the whole world is moving towards 18:9 display, Coolpad launched the new Coolpad Note 6 smartphone with 16:9 display.
It comes in Gold and Gray color options and will be available via offline stores starting today. The Coolpad Note 6 comes in 3GB and 4GB RAM variants and is priced at Rs. 8,999 and Rs. 9,999 respectively. Talking about the specifications, the device comes with a 5.5-inch Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) display. Under the hood is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 435 Mobile Platform coupled with 3GB/4GB RAM.
While the 3GB RAM variant comes with 32GB of internal storage, the 4GB RAM variant will be offering 64GB of internal storage. There is also a MicroSD card slot for expanding the storage up to 128GB. In terms of optics, there is a single 13MP camera on the rear with f/2.2 aperture and 8MP + 5MP dual cameras on the front for selfies. Both the cameras are accompanied by a LED flash. It runs on Android 7.1 Nougat out of the box, and nothing is mentioned about the Oreo update.
The physical home button on the front comes with an integrated fingerprint sensor. It is backed by a 4,070mAh non-removable battery and lacks any fast charging support. It measures 153.7 × 76.4 × 8.62 mm and weighs 170 grams. Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, 3.5mm audio jack, and a MicroUSB 2.0 port.
