Honor 10 with 5.84″ 19:9 Display & 24MP AI Cameras Launched for Rs 32,999
Honor today launched the flagship Honor 10 smartphone at an event held in London. While the device is on sale in China, it will be now available in selected European and Asian markets. Along with the stunning design and flagship specifications, the device will also include the AI capabilities for capturing better photos.
The device comes with shiny glass back body and will be available in Midnight Black, Glacier Grey, Phantom Grey and Phantom Blue color options. It sports a 5.84-inch bezel-less display with Full HD+ (2280 x 1080 pixels) resolution and 19:9 aspect ratio. There is a notch the top that can be hidden using the settings.
The Honor 10 comes powered by the in-house Kirin 970 octa-core processor coupled with Mali-G72 MP12 GPU. There is also a dedicated NPU for processing the AI tasks. It comes with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. Talking about the cameras, there is a 16MP RGB sensor and a 24MP Monochrome sensor on the rear with dual f/1.8 aperture and CAF autofocus.
On the front is a 24MP sensor on the front with f/2.0 aperture and 3D facial recognition support. Along with the several AI-based features, the camera app also includes AR stickers. The Honor 10 runs on the latest Android 8.1 Oreo-based EMUI 8.1 out of the box. It is kept powered on by a 3,400mAh non-removable battery that also supports 5V/4.5A (22.5W) Honor Supercharge technology.
The front-facing fingerprint sensor on this device is placed under the glass, not under the display. Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, NFC, IR Blaster, 3.5mm audio jack, and a USB Type-C port. Coming to the pricing, the Honor 10 costs Rs. 32,999 and will be sold exclusively through Flipkart.
