Lenovo Z5 with 6.2″ Notch Display & Snapdragon 636 SoC Launched
After being silent in the last few months, Lenovo has unveiled a new mid-range smartphone called Lenovo Z5 today in China. While the company has been promising a lot about this device in the teasers, it’s just another mid-range Chinese smartphone in the market with a notch display. The Lenovo Z5 comes with a metallic frame and glass back body. There is a 2.5D Corning Gorilla Glass laid on the front and back for extra protection. It comes in Black, Blue, and Aurora color options.
On the front is a 6.2-inch notch display with Full HD+ (2246 x 1080 pixels) resolution and 19:9 aspect ratio. The company mentioned the display on this device to offer 90% screen-to-body ratio. Under the hood is the 14nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 octa-core processor coupled with Adreno 509 GPU and 6GB of RAM. The Lenovo Z5 will be available in 64GB and 128GB storage option. On the rear, there is a 16MP + 8MP dual camera setup with f/2.0 aperture and record 4K resolution videos.
For selfies, the Lenovo Z5 sports an 8MP front-facing camera with AI integration. There is also circular fingerprint sensor placed on the rear of the device. It is backed by a 3,300mAh non-removable battery and supports up to 18W charging input. While the dual SIM card can be found on the left edge, the volume rocker and textured power button are placed on the right edge. It runs on the latest Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box with the customized ZUI 4.0 laid on top.
Coming to the pricing, the Black color Lenovo Z5 with 6GB RAM will be costing 1299 Yuan. The 64GB and 128GB storage variants of Lenovo Z5 in Blue and Aurora colors are priced at 1399 Yuan and 1799 Yuan respectively. Stay tuned on PhoneRadar for more details!
