LG Q7, Q7+, & Q7α Smartphones Unveiled with 5.5″ FullVision Display
LG has announced the LG Q7, Q7+, and Q7α smartphones as the successors to last year’s LG Q6, Q6+, and Q6α. Just like there predecessors, the new LG Q7 smartphones also come with same design and specifications. Talking about the differences, the RAM, internal storage, and cameras will be varying. While the LG Q7 and Q7+ come in Aurora Black, Moroccan Blue, and Lavender Violet color options, the LG Q7α comes only in Moroccan Blue color.
LG Q7, Q7+, & Q7α Smartphones Are Now Official

The LG Q7 smartphones are mentioned to be available starting early June. Talking about the devices, all the three devices come with metal body design and are MIL-STD 810G certified for their durability. On the front, we will be looking at a 5.5-inch FullVision display with Full HD+ (2160 x 1080 pixels) resolution and 18:9 aspect ratio. While the processor is not specifically mentioned, the device will come powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon octa-core processor clocked at 1.5GHz/1.8GHz.
While the LG Q7 and Q7α come with 3GB of RAM with 32GB of internal storage, the LG Q7+ sports 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. All three devices come with a MicroSD card support for expanding additionally up to 2TB. In terms of camera, the LG Q7+ sports 16MP rear camera with PDAF and an 8MP or 5MP front camera for selfies. Coming to the LG Q7 & Q7α, there will be a 13MP camera on the rear with PDAF.
While the LG Q7 comes with an 8MP or 5MP front camera, the LG Q7α will be featuring a 5MP front camera. Only the devices with the 5MP front camera will be offering a super wide-angle view. The devices run on Android 8.0 Oreo with LG UX UI on top. All the three devices are backed by a 3,000mAh battery that supports fast charging. The LG Q7 devices are also IP68 certified which means they are water and dust resistant.
Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, 3.5mm audio jack and a USB Type-C port. The LG Q7+ additionally comes with Quad DAC for Hi-Fi audio. As of now, there is no information about the pricing or exact availability details.
Latest: LG Q7 & Q7+ Smartphones Launched in Korea
Last month, LG has unveiled three new budget smartphones called LG Q7, Q7+, & Q7α. Today, the LG Q7 and Q7+ smartphones are officially launched in South Korea. Both the devices will be coming with FullVision display offering Full HD+ resolution. Under the hood, the devices come powered by the 14nm Qualcomm Snapdragon octa-core processor clocked at 1.8GHz and is coupled with Adreno 506 GPU.
While the LG Q7 will be available in Aurora Black and Lavender Violet color options, the LG Q7+ comes only in Moroccan Blue color option. Talking about the pricing, the LG Q7 & Q7+ are priced at KRW 495,000 and KRW 570,000 respectively. As of now, there is no confirmation over the availability of the LG Q7α smartphone.
