Honor Note 8 with 6.6″ 2K AMOLED Display & 4500mAh Battery Launched in China
Earlier this year, Honor launched two new high-end smartphones – Honor V8 and Honor 8. Both the devices came with dual rear cameras as seen on Huawei P9 and P9 Plus but without Leica branding. Now the company had launched a new phablet called Honor Note 8 which was earlier rumored to be called as Honor V8 Max. It sports a huge 6.6-inch Super AMOLED display on the front with QuadHD (2560 x 1440 pixels) resolution.
It is powered Kirin 950 octa-core processor clocked at 2.3GHz and comes in different storage variants. There is also a MicroSD card slot for expanding the storage additionally up to 128GB. Unlike the earlier Honor V8 and Honor 8, the new Note 8 comes with a 13MP single camera with PDAF and dual tone LED flash. For selfies, there is an 8MP front camera with wide-angle lens. It also supports dual SIM dual standby and offers 4G LTE.
As the device comes with a large display, it also packs a huge 4400mAh battery that can easily last more than a day of usage. It runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box with the latest EMUI 4.1 laid on top.
